About Us
The Porters Lake Business Association (PLBA) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that was first established in 2018 and later became a Business Improvement District (BID) in 2019.
Our mission is to support the Porters Lake business community in order to sustain, improve, and promote economic prosperity. The PLBA holds its values of community, innovation, diversity & inclusion, leadership, and teamwork close to heart, and encourages both PLBA members and the surrounding business community to do the same.

In order to achieve our mission, our strategic goals are to:

Promote existing business interests in the Porters Lake community;

Conduct activities and projects related to business promotion, special events, and beautification which meets the needs of the Porters Lake business community;

Attract new business and industry to the Porters Lake area; and

Work proactively with Government and the community of Porters Lake and inform them of the wishes of the business community

The boundaries of the Porters Lake Business Association's business improvement district (BID) include commercial properties within the area bounded by Highway 7, Stella Dr, and Porters Lake Station Road. These include properties between Alps Road to the west end of Stella Drive, and properties between Highway 7 to Meadowview Drive.
If you own or represent a business outside these boundaries, but are still interested in joining the Porters Lake Business Association, check out our Associate Membership.
